M.C. Dynamic Logo Designs

I was hired by a friend of a friend to design a logo for his real estate company.  He sketched out an idea of what he wanted (the result of which is the first design here) and instructed me to "think outside the box" whilst creating his logo.  So to get some inspiration I went online to see some professionally done real estate logo and found they are all very similar; saturated with vector buildings and houses surrounding text.  I decided I wanted to do something different and make his logo more unique; that is why I started going into the direction I went.  Anyway, these are all the different variations I went though (minus the final one); I know it doesn't look like a normal real estate logo but he did say he wanted his to be different and I sent him samples throughout the process and he really seemed to like what I was doing so I just kept fine tuning the logo in coordination which is specifications and these are the results.
